Why build it? Our reasons for wanting to build the Atlantis Pyramid are many and varied. Topmost is the fact that this is a very special age. Not only is it the beginning of the new millennium, it is also an era unique in the history of our species. The last 100 hundred years for instance have seen immense changes and never in the known history of the planet has humanity advanced so much in so short a time. |

Imperative need. In this respect we must not forget that our long term survival on this planet cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. Even if we overlook disastrous scenarios it is certainly true that civilisations, for numerous reasons, often degenerate and collapse. This makes it imperative that like the pyramid builders of ancient Egypt we take steps to preserve our knowledge in as permanent a form as possible. We believe this could best be done by the construction of a new pyramid that would immortalise the memory of this very crucial point in history. |
