Who are we?

Atlantis Pyramid was formed in the summer of the year 2000. Our purpose is to raise a pyramid as a time marker to this period in history. There are many good reasons for doing so; reasons which are fully explored in our separate sections Why do it? and our comprehensive list of Frequently asked Questions.

Inspiration.

It was always intended that Atlantis Pyramid should be an international effort that expresses another of our main reasons for this venture: The desire to construct a monument that will inspire people everywhere to explore their potential to the very fullest.

Gesture to posterity.

With this in mind we have always taken pains to avoid the Atlantis Pyramid being associated with any one nation. This enterprise is for the whole of the world, a gesture to posterity that will endure long after much of this present civilisation has turned to rubble.
