Project News.

The Atlantis Pyramid is currently in the very early stages of development. With this in mind it would be wrong to pretend that this is going to be anything other than a very long term project.

Fifteen Years.

The two main pyramids of Giza are believed to have taken around 40 years to construct. When however you add to this the long years of planning that must have gone into their design, then the final total of years mounts quite dramatically. With the use of modern transport and building techniques it is likely that work on a new pyramid would be significantly faster. Nevertheless despite these advances this is a lengthy project that is unlikely to be completed within the next 15 years.

Essential tasks.

At this stage it impossible to know how long it will be before the Atlantis Pyramid is finally completed. It is also extremely difficult to have any idea of when the actual physical work on the Atlantis Pyramid is likely to commence. Before this happens there are a whole number of essential tasks that need to be completed. Below are just a small number of the outstanding list of things that need to be done.

Location of the Atlantis Pyramid.

We need to find a geologically suitable piece of ground, that is both cheap to purchase and also has ready access to the necessary raw materials and the availability of a suitable workforce. The chosen site also needs to be in a politically stable area, and one that does not involve the sacrifice of an environmentally active location. We already have a number of promising alternatives, though a final choice is still some time away.

Financial Backing.

The Atlantis Pyramid will require significant funding of between 1 - 2 billion dollars. This is a serious amount of money and finding it will not be easy. However we already have a number of ideas towards acquiring this working capital and further details will be announced as they become available.

The Workforce.

Building the Atlantis Pyramid will require a sizeable workforce. Expert craftsmen and architects together with skilled artisans and dedicated labourers will be required to work long hours in potentially difficult conditions. All these factors make it essential that the construction group we eventually assemble for the  Atlantis Pyramid must be a team in the fullest sense of the word.

No time scale.

As yet we have no definite time scale for the completion of each stage. However all significant announcements will be made public on this page.
